Music on the Riverbank – Tharangam Lunenburg Chenda Melam

Tharangam Lunenburg is the first mixed Chenda Melam group in Atlantic Canada. Chenda Melam is a traditional percussion instrument that has been an integral part of the culture and festivals of Kerala for centuries. Experience something truly unique with this booming performance! 

Music on the Riverbank, presented by the Town of Bridgewater, is popular summer-long, free to attend, music festival along the banks of the LaHave River!

Proudly presented in partnership with South Shore Centre, and supported by CKBW/Country 100.7, we’re thrilled to welcome 14 performances in our 10th season to the stage every Thursday at 6:30p.m.
