Celebrate Canada Day on the LaHave!

Make plans to head to Downtown Bridgewater on July 1st to celebrate Canada Day – it’ll be a full day of festivities and fun for the entire family from 11:00am – 7:00pm.

The Bridgewater Events Committee in partnership with the South Shore Multicultural Association will soon have the program finalized, but there is room for community groups, organizations, clubs and businesses to ‘pop-up’ to be a part of the day too!

King Street and the Old Bridge will be become a pedestrian-only area so you can meander and enjoy:

• Official Canada Day Ceremony
• South Shore Multicultural Festival on stage at Pijinuiskaq Park
• Community Picnic
• Live and DJ music
• Food Truck Party
• Vendors & Market
• Bouncy ‘Castles’
• Lions Club Kids Wagon Train Rides
• Kids Zone
• Face Painting
• Clowns and Buskers
• Visiting boats from Marinas along the LaHave River
